Harmony Alliance is being built in the open by people who are learning alongside everyone who joins. This page describes what exists today rather than what we hope will exist.
What we are
A think and do tank, weighted toward do.
A conventional think tank produces analysis and hands it to someone else. A conventional builder starts from a client brief and a budget. Harmony Alliance is designed to hold both ends: to do the listening and research properly, and then to stay with the idea through feasibility, team formation, construction, measurement, and publication.
We work on consequential questions where a good answer requires more than one kind of knowledge — someone who lives there, someone who has studied it, someone who can build it, and someone who can pay for it, in the same room, on the same question, for long enough to matter.
The method is deliberately visible. Twenty two inquiry chambers hold the questions. Eight stages carry an idea. A short covenant governs how people treat each other and the evidence. Everything produced is credited and published, including the results that do not flatter us.
Where we are
The Wet Mountain Valley, Colorado.
Our home ground is The Ponderosa, near Westcliffe, Colorado — high valley country between the Sangre de Cristo and Wet Mountain ranges. It is where gatherings, prototyping, and early pilot work can take physical form.
Working from one real place keeps the thinking honest. Water law, wind, hail, soil, altitude, county process, and neighbors are not abstractions here. A design that cannot survive this valley probably should not be exported to anyone else's.

What does not exist yet
- Any completed pilot, measured result, or secured site.
- Announced partners, funding, or institutional endorsements.
- Member accounts, voting, or the full open forum. Those come later.
- A track record. We are asking to be judged on method for now.

Projects built at real scale in real places, instrumented and measured, so a proposal becomes something a visitor can walk through.
